Apple Email Marketing

Working at Apple was like a dream come true for me. An Apple SE/30 was my first personal computer and I've been an Apple fanboy for years. I mean, jeez, I actually got to stand in line at the corporate cafeteria right behind Steve (FYI: he really likes butter lettuce). I've done a couple of tours down in Cupertino as a freelance art director, designing rich emails and direct marketing print materials to support online store & product launches. I helped support launches of MacBook Pro and the 1st generation iPhone, the iPod line, and iTunes.

The email I designed for Apple Shake—a visual effects plug-in for Final Cut Pro—had a 31% percent open rate—the highest of any email in 2006—and generated $31,991 in revenue.
